Airbnb Garden Transformation
We completely renovated this Airbnb garden in York, creating an upper area for a hot tub and pergola, a separate seating area below and a new Indian stone pathway leading towards the road.

For this Airbnb project in York, we carried out a complete garden renovation to make better use of the outdoor space and give guests somewhere to relax during their stay. The existing garden needed a full rip-out before we could get started on the new layout. The plan included an upper area for a hot tub and pergola, a separate seating area further down the garden and a new pathway leading towards the road.

We started by clearing the existing garden and preparing the ground for the new Indian stone paving. This included installing a suitable sub-base and ACO drainage to help manage surface water around the paved areas. We also incorporated gravel traps and decorative stone into the landscaping, making sure the drainage and finishing details were taken care of as part of the installation.

At the top of the garden, we created a new Indian stone patio beneath the black pergola, providing a solid paved area for the hot tub. This gives guests their own space to relax and enjoy the hot tub, separate from the main seating area below. The dark pergola also looks great against the natural stone paving and makes a real feature of this part of the garden.
Further down the garden, we installed another Indian stone patio to create a separate outdoor seating area. We also laid a new pathway leading towards the road, providing a clear route through the property. Using the same Indian stone across both areas gives the garden a consistent finish, while the gravel traps and decorative stone provide a tidy edge to the newly installed paving.

We're really happy with how this Airbnb garden has turned out. The Indian stone looks brilliant beneath the black pergola, and the separate seating area gives guests another place to enjoy the garden without taking away from the hot-tub area. The new pathway makes the different parts of the property easier to access, while the drainage and groundwork have all been properly taken care of behind the finished landscaping. It's a strong result for the property and one we're pleased to have completed in York.
